Opening a private account requires a personal visit to Krakow for one business day.

Opening an account in a Polish bank is as follows:

  • Registration of an apartment lease agreement (nominally for the purpose of obtaining PESEL and for declaring a Polish address in a bank);
  • Obtaining a PESEL (Polish tax number) - takes no more than 30-40 minutes. Having a Polish tax number does not mean that from now on you are obliged to pay taxes in Poland;
  • Visit to the bank, where the manager is expecting you;
  • Opening an account takes place at the time of a visit to the bank and you go home with an already opened account.
